Hunter's Amsterdam Downtown
CoffeeshopAbout
The chain's central branch, on Utrechtsestraat just south of Rembrandtplein where the street crosses the Herengracht and Keizersgracht. It's a good address: the Amstel is a minute away, the Munttoren and the flower market a short walk west, and Utrechtsestraat itself is one of the better shopping and eating streets in the center.
The room is graffiti-styled and modern, and the heated outdoor terrace is the feature — a rarity in this city and the reason a lot of people pick it over the alternatives nearby. Staff draw consistently strong reviews for taking time over recommendations. The menu is the full Hunter's list, refreshed often, with a good hash showing including temple ball, and hazes and kush across the flower side.
One practical note: the bar next door is a partner business, so a group split between smokers and drinkers can sit together across the two — genuinely useful if not everyone in your party is here for the same thing.
