Risky Business

Serving Amsterdam West since 1984, Risky Business is a neighbourhood shop rather than a place to spend an afternoon. It sits in Landlust, a largely residential 1930s district just south of Westerpark, well outside the tourist grid.

Takeaway only — the small smoking lounge that once operated here is long gone, and what's left is a waiting area and a counter. There's no seating and no smoking inside. The menu is modest, as is normal for shops outside the centre, though regulars report the range has improved and now includes Amsterdam Genetics edibles. Prices are the main draw: consistently below what you'll pay in the Centrum.
