Bullwackie
CoffeeshopAbout
Named after Lloyd Barnes — the Trenchtown-born producer known as Bullwackie, who founded the Wackies reggae label in the Bronx in the 1970s. That tells you most of what you need to know about the place's disposition.
It's a small corner shop on a quiet residential street in Amsterdam-Zuid, a few minutes from Hoofddorpplein and its cluster of cafés and pubs. Locals are the core trade. The weed menu is short — around ten items — and unfashionable by design: recognized old-school strains rather than the latest imported genetics. Hash is the real strength here, with a focus on Moroccan imports, reflecting what the neighborhood actually buys. There are pre-rolls, and glassware for sale. Prices are well under Centrum rates, which is the main reason to make the trip.
No smoking on site. This is a buy-and-go shop and the staff would rather you didn't linger outside either.
